Find out more about the technologies we offer: ASCII Files Min-U-Script with Word Index a/k/a Compressed Transcript Min-U-Script .PDF with Interactive Word Index e-transcript Transcript-to-Video Synchronization Timestamping Videoconferencing Interactive Realtime Digitally signed certified transcripts ASCII Files These are simple text files that can be used with any word processor. They can be e-mailed to you or delivered on diskette or CD. In addition to the Page Image ASCII, we can convert the files into a more compatible version for the following software: Top of Page Min-U-Script with Word Index A certified transript in a compressed format with four pages per side and a word index, Min-U-Script is now available in .PDF format. In addition to the Word Index being linked to the transcript, .PDF allows you to print, search, cut and paste with ease. It's also e-mail compatible. Try Min-U-Script Xpress. It provides a variety of Min-U-Script styles (full size, condensed, word indexes, exhibits) in Adobe PDF format as well as, the original ASCII file. Searching and digesting is a snap using popular features in Adobe Reader or Acrobat. Min-U-Script Xpress includes the Min-U-Script Transcript Library for automatic storing, searching, sorting and retrieving files. Top of Page Min-U-Script .PDF with Interactive Word Index - More sophisticated and useful than the traditional Min-U-Script What is Min-U-Script in .PDF format?
Do you need special software? All you need is Adobe Reader. Are the transcripts in Min-U-Script in .PDF e-mail compatible? Yes. Even better, you can e-mail the transcript in view only, four page compressed and an ASCII file all at the same time. Top of Page e-transcript e-transcript is a unique, self-contained program that allows you to view a certified transcript and word index side by side on your computer screen. It is more versatile than a text file such as ASCII because the words in your index are hyperlinked to those in the transcript. You also have the capability of printing the e-transcript in a variety of compressed formats. You don't need to purchase additional software. Just double click on the filename and the transcript appears on your computer screen. You can print your certified transcript in multiple page formats with or without the word index. e-transcript also has a duplex printing option. e-transcript can be delivered to you on diskette or attached to an e-mail. However, since e-transcripts are program files and many e-mail services block the acceptance of them, we send e-transcripts as data files. You can download a free viewer from Reallegal's website at http://www.reallegal.com/techsupportEtranViewer.asp Top of Page Transcript-to-Video Synchronization for PC With transcript-to-video synchronization, we transfer both your video and your timestamped, certified transcript to a CD and synchronize them so they appear together, much like a movie with subtitles. You can view the video and transcript simultaneously using YesLaw's free software package, YesVideo. Or we can perform the transcript-to-video synchronization using the software package of your choice, including Sanction®, Summation, TrialDirector, VideoNote, and Publisher. Transcript-to-Video synchronization has many benefits: -
You can cut and paste video clips with testimony on your computer. -
The CDs use less storage space than videotapes. -
Each CD holds roughly two hours of video with the certified transcript. -
Synchronization is inexpensive. -
Your synchronized transcript can be formatted to the litigation support package of your choice. You can prepare trial presentations by exporting video clips from YesVideo into popular trial presentation programs such as Sanction®, Summation, and PowerPoint. You can also export the clips to an MPEG file, Windows Media file, or e-mail. Top of Page Timestamping We print timestamps on your certified transcript that correspond to the clock on the videotape so you can fast forward your video to the testimony you're viewing on your transcript. This saves the videographer valuable time when cutting and pasting testimony, therefore saving you money by reducing the billable hours. With the use of "elapsed time" and specialized software, you are able to view on the printed transcript the actual number of minutes/hours of time while on the record. Timestamping is included with videotaped transcripts. Receive the same full-page transcript that you are accustomed to receiving plus timestamping on every fifth line at no additional cost. Top of Page Videoconferencing Videoconferencing lets you view and communicate with lawyers and witnesses located anywhere in the world. It's more versatile than a telephone. Not only can you ask questions and listen to answers but you can observe at all times the deponent and exhibits in real time on a large screen with top quality visual and sound capabilities. Increase your productivity and efficiency while saving time and money. Conduct your out-of-town depositions, meetings, or interviews using our convenient downtown Boston facilities and avoid expensive, time-consuming traveling. Our rooms are available 24/7/365 for your convenience. Top of Page Interactive Realtime With interactive realtime, your notebook receives the text output from the court reporter's notebook while testimony is being given, using your own preferred software. You can navigate through the unedited text via a series of easily learned commands that mark and save text, insert notes and issue codes, perform searches of text, and more. Once the deposition is concluded, all text and annotations can be saved for later use. We assign a highly qualified reporter who has experience with this technology to write realtime and provide you with the cable hookup. All you need is interactive realtime software such as LiveNote, Summation or CaseView, and a serial port connection on your notebook. Upon request, we'll provide you with an "uncertified" rough transcript, available on diskette, CD, or via e-mail. Of course, an uncertified rough transcript is no replacement for the official certified transcript, but sometimes you need the convenience and speed that a "serviceable" uncertified transcript provides. As always, we will provide the most highly skilled court reporters in the industry to make your realtime experience a positive one. Top of Page Digitally Signed Certified Transcripts With powerful encryption technology and public key infrastructure (PKI) support, Verisign and Adobe have a digital signature solution which enables enterprises to exchange documents electronically with: - Assurance that the information has not been altered since it was sent
- Verification of the signer's digital identity
When a digitally certified transcript is needed, we have the solution. Top of Page To request the use of any of these technologies, or for more information about them, call Doris O.
